Chambre d'Hôtes Coriandre 2 personnes
Coriander Room
Simplicity, harmony and Asian inspirations in the countryside
With over 25 m² , Coriandre is a spacious room designed around a simple idea: to create a calm and harmonious atmosphere.
There's no elaborate decoration here.
Wood, natural materials, soft tones and a few Asian influences create a simple and warm world, wide open to the Quercy countryside.
The large bay window naturally brings in light and extends the view outwards.
Just a few steps are all it takes to reach your private 12 m² terrace-balcony .
An additional 12 m² for outdoor living
The terrace-balcony truly extends the bedroom.
You can start the day peacefully there, settle down to read, have a coffee or simply enjoy the air and the scenery.
After a day spent exploring Cahors or the Lot, it is also a pleasant place to find peace and quiet in the Clos before heading to the swimming pool, jacuzzi or the table d'hôtes.
With over 25 m² in the bedroom and 12 m² of private outdoor space , Coriandre provides enough space to really slow down.
And sometimes, that's exactly what we come here for.
A bathroom in the same style
The private bathroom extends the atmosphere of the room with the same quest for simplicity and comfort.
It notably features a large walk-in shower and a double sink .
Simple lines, warm materials and space: nothing demonstrative, simply what you need to feel good.
Coriander, the room of serenity
Each room at Clos has its own personality.
Coriander's appeal lies less in a spectacular element than in the overall balance .
The materials, the volumes, the light, the wood, the view of the countryside and the few touches from elsewhere create a particularly relaxing atmosphere.
This is a room we gladly recommend to those who likeSimple interiors, natural materials and soothing atmospheres.

Why choose Coriander?
For its calm, its harmony and its atmosphere inspired by elsewhere.
And because a room at Clos is also a whole house…
By booking Coriandre, you will of course enjoy your room and your terrace-balcony, but also everything that makes up the Clos experience.
The garden, the seasonal swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the sauna are there to extend those moments when you really don't want to run.
You can leave in the morning to visit Cahors or Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, return in the afternoon, swim, enjoy the jacuzzi and then find a few moments of calm in Coriandre before dinner.
We can also decide to stay at Clos.
A book, a deckchair, a few laps in the pool, a nap…
The program can be remarkably short.
Le Clos is as much a starting point for discovering the Lot as it is a place where it is pleasant to slow down and take time for oneself .
When summer in Quercy is generous…
In good weather, life at Clos naturally takes place outdoors.
The garden, terraces and swimming pool allow you to fully enjoy the climate of the Southwest.
When temperatures become higher, the architecture of the house naturally protects it from the intense heat and our cooling system contributes to the comfort of the rooms in the heart of summer .
This allows you to enjoy the sun outside and then return to a pleasant atmosphere inside the house.
Outside, the summer of Quercy. Inside, the coolness of the Clos.
In the morning, take your time
Breakfast allows you to start the day peacefully with fresh bread from our baker, jams, homemade yogurts, fruit juices, coffee, tea and carefully selected products .
And since a decision must eventually be made about where to go, this is often also the time for the first discussions about the program.
The market in Cahors? Saint-Cirq-Lapopie? Rocamadour? A walk in the Lot valley? The vineyards? A producer or a good place for lunch?
Didier is happy to share his knowledge of the Lot and Quercy regions , his favorite places to eat and some suggested itineraries depending on your preferences.
So you are not just being given a key.
We also give you some tips for discovering the region.
And are you staying for dinner tonight?
With a reservation, the Clos' Table d'hôtes allows you to extend your day without having to get back in the car.
We offer simple and delicious cuisine, prepared to please our guests , using fresh, seasonal, and mostly local products.
Dinner begins with an aperitif and continues with a starter, a main course and a dessert, accompanied by food and wine pairings from the Lot vineyards .
The table is a moment of discovery but also of encounter.
We talk about the day's visits, the next steps, the products tasted, and sometimes about topics that no longer have much to do with the Lot!
And if you would prefer to simply enjoy an evening for two, we can also prepare a separate table for you .
Sharing when you want to, preserving your privacy when you wish: that, for us, is also the spirit of a guest house.
After dessert, coffee or, depending on the season, herbal tea prepared with plants from the garden .
And your room is then just a few steps away.
Cahors just a few minutes away, the Lot River in front of you
Clos de la Fontaine allows you to stay in the peace and quiet of the countryside while remaining just a few minutes from Cahors .
Its historic center, the Valentré bridge, the Saint-Étienne cathedral, its market, the banks of the Lot and its vineyard make for a beautiful first discovery of the region.
Then comeSaint-Cirq-Lapopie, Bouziès and its towpath, Cajarc, Rocamadour, the Padirac chasm, Autoire and the landscapes of Quercy.
By staying several nights, there's no need to repack your suitcases every morning.
We maintain our point of attachment and radiate outwards each day in a different direction.
Le Clos can thus become your base camp for exploring the Lot and more broadly the Southwest , with Sarlat and the Périgord, Toulouse or Albi as other ideas for getaways.
Settle down once. Then, shine.
A guesthouse is also a place for meeting people.
We like to be available without ever imposing our presence.
A recommendation, a good address, a conversation around the table or simply a few words exchanged in the garden…
Then everyone returns to their own space and enjoys their stay at their own pace.
Present when you need them. Discreet when you simply want to enjoy the place.
This is our way of designing the welcome at Clos.
And Coriander perhaps translates this state of mind particularly well:Space, calm and just the right amount of surroundings to feel like you're somewhere else.
